I have gathered quite a few different methods for this!

If you want to watch anything on the BBC iPlayer (Doctor Who, Sherlock, Merlin, etc.), then check these out! Click on the names to be taken to an in-depth tutorial on how to install/use them.

For PCs only:

Expat Shield

Pros:

• Extremely easy to use.
• Very effective
• Free.

Cons:

• Pop-ups/ads occasionally.

For Macs OR PCs:

TunnelBear

Pros:

• Very effective.
• Free (up to a certain amount of megabytes.)

Cons:

• A bit confusing if you’re not very good with computers.
• Limited to only 500 megabytes per month (unless you do the Twitter promotion, which gives you a free 1 GB)

Stealthy (extension for both FireFox AND Google Chrome)

Pros:

• Incredibly easy to install/activate.
• Very effective.

Cons:

• I have been having some difficulties with making it work with watching BBC One live. Watching the episodes that are downloaded to the websites works, but so far I have not been able to make it work with LIVE.
